(The below is written from a company the I currently run) Currently there are no ways that schools can know what a student is doing on their personal devices. Either they outright ban the use of personal devices like phones or computer, or they allow the students to run rampant, and the students get nothing done in class because they get distracted. I feel that there is a need for a product that allows to teacher to digitally view what the students are doing on their personal devices comparative to a teacher looking over a students shoulder in class. The customer for this product would be teachers, administrators and district boards who want to see a solution to this problem I talked with my mentor Quang Tran, and he feels that there is a definite way to capitalize on the need for a software as a service company (SAS) that could solve this problem. Many teachers that I had talked to prior, have experienced this problem and want to incorporate student's phones into class,...
Hey Collin,
ReplyDeleteI really liked your regulatory changes and the opportunities that will follow. I agree with your opinion on the legalization of marijuana, I also wrote a regulatory change on this. Especially with the recent legalization of recreational marijuana in Canada, new dispensaries are going to have a great opportunity in this market, as well as those who invest in it. In your opinion, who do you think is given the greatest opportunity with this regulatory change? Are there any other ways to reap the benefits aside from investing?
Hi Collin!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post. I thought it was interesting that you mentioned the increase of property values. My dad knows does a lot of real estate investing so I am very familiar with how it works. Basically, if the property you buy is in an area that's in high demand, you could make alot of monye off of rent or if you decide to keep the property and sell it later.
Collin,
ReplyDeleteI also included the decriminalization of marijuana as a regulatory opportunity in my post. The drug's medical and psychoactive properties ensure an incentive to many people to purchase cannabis products. This makes it a very good product with the potential of an extremely successful and profitable industry. The legalization of marijuana would allow businesses to legally capitalize on this opportunity. Great Post.
Hey Collin,
ReplyDeleteOpening up marijuana laws is boosting every economy it is allowed now older people will feel more comfortable buying and smoking weed and every person who smokes will love to try legal weed. Stock selling platforms seem like a can't fail system there will always be competition because no one can really completely dominate the whole market for it. Only thing they can do is make the better and better platforms.
Hi Collin,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your lists. I think you're absolutely correct about the emergence of stock trading platform. I see ads on different platform products everywhere nowadays. And many of those are automatic trading platforms which will make trading decisions for you, so even if you don't have much knowledge in this field, you have an opportunity to make returns.
