My Entrepreneurship Story: ClassroomSync
Ever since I can remember I had played with LEGOs and aspired to become an Mechanical Engineer because I always enjoyed building things. It wasn't until my senior year of high school that I realized that what I wanted to build was something intangible: a business. I was also inspired by my Mom, who grew up with nothing and worked her way up the ladder of her accounting firm. She taught me many aspects of business because while working at home, I would overhear what she was talking about on the phone and would ask her about it afterwords.
I currently run a company called ClassroomSync based in the UF innovation hub and have 5 interns working towards a common goal. My idea came from my senior year of my high school calculus 2 class. Since then I have met a mentor and developed my product to a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). As of now, I am deeply embedded with the startup community and am familiar with many people and companies in the space. I have decided to enroll in ENT3003 because I am hoping to make valuable connections with other aspiring entrepreneurs and am trying to minor in entrepreneurship.
